			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>PALMETTO- A Manatee County man is in jail after beating up his step-dad, and setting his house on fire.</p>
<p>It happened in the 1500 block of 1st Avenue East.</p>
<p>25-year-old Juan Santana got into a fight with his step-father, 30-year-old Victor Saenz in front of the home.</p>
<p>Santana when went inside the home, and set it on fire.</p>
<p>Deputies and fire rescue personnel arrived on scene with the house completely involved with flames.</p>
<p>Santana was later arrested after another relative spotted him. He&#8217;s now in the Manatee County Jail, facing battery and arson charges.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[The suspects fired two shots, but no one was hit...]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ST. PETERSBURG- The Pinellas County Sheirf&#8217;s Office is looking for two men who robbed a store and customers, and assaulted them.</p>
<p>It happened around 4pm Saturday at the  Lucky Pool in the 4700 block of 49th Street North.</p>
<p>The two men walked into the store carrying handguns and robbed the four people inside. Two shots were fired as one of the victims ran to the bathroom.</p>
<p>No one was shot, but they suffered minor injuries after being roughed up by the suspects.</p>
<p>The suspects are described as Hispanic males in their early to mid twenties. Both were last seen wearing white shirts and black pants, and both were armed with a handgun.</p>
<p>If you have any information, please call the Pinellas County Sheriff&#8217;s Office.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>THONOTOSASSA- Hillsborough County firefighters discovered a grusome scene early Saturday morning in Thonotosassa.</p>
<p>Crews responded to a reported brush fire on Taylor Road off of Skewlee Road.</p>
<p>When arriving on scene, they discovered it was not a brush fire, but a vehicle heavily involved in flames in the woods.</p>
<p>After putting out the flames, firefighters discovered a body insidea.</p>
<p>Investigators will try to determine the cause of the fire and the identity of the body.</p>

<p>The tornado touched down in the 3000 block of Camp Rosalie Road.</p>
<p>The call came in around 6:37 to the report of power lines down in the area.</p>
<p>So far, four homes and a bridge are damaged, but no reports of injuries.</p>
<p>The American Red Cross is responding to assist the victims in the effected area.</p>

<p>Manatee County deputies received a call from woman on Westmoreland Drive, saying she was being stabbed.</p>
<p>When they arrived, they heard a woman screaming, entered the home, and saw a man stabbing her.</p>
<p>They opened fire, killing the suspect. The woman is alright according to MCSO.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[The tank was leaking Sulfur Dioxide, which is harmful to humans...]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>GIBSONTON- Hillsborough County Fire Rescue spent Friday trying to contain a leak in Gibsonton.</p>
<p>It happened at the wastewater treatment plant on US Highway 41 South.</p>
<p>A take filled with Sulfur Dioxide started leaking, and employees were immeditely evacuated. Crews had to wear HazMat suits to approach the leak.</p>
<p>The chemical is used to eliminate the chloine in water treated in the plant.</p>
<p>Some of the effects of Sulfur Dioxide are frost bite when contacted with the skin, breathing trouble, pulmonary damage, and irritation.</p>
<p>No one was hurt in the leak.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Heavy rain and strong winds expected north of Tampa...]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>BAY AREA- Fay made landfall not once, but twice in Florida. And after 5 days, Tampa Bay is still feeling the effects of the Tropical Storm.</p>
<p>Fay is currently near Tallahassee, moving west at 8 miles an hour. Top sustained winds are at 45 miles an hour. It&#8217;s expected to go over water once again, and make landfall near the Alabama-Florida border.</p>
<p>Fay is bringing heavy winds and rain Tampa northward. Citrus, Hernando, and Sumter Counties are under a Tropical Storm Warning. A Flood Warning is in effect for Citrus County. Hernando and Sumter Counties are in a Flood Watch.</p>
<p>Tropical Storm Fay made landfall the first time late Monday in Key West, again Tuesday morning near Naples, and again on Thursday north of Daytona Beach.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[The three men are accused in three different crimes in a month span...]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TAMPA- Three men are in police custody for their part in the rape and abduction of two women in Hillsborough County this weekend.</p>
<p>20-year-old Rigoberto Martinez, 20-year-old Vincent Reyes-Carbajal, and 13-year-old Jose Walle, were arrested Thursday.</p>
<p>All three are accused of forcing themselves into a vehicle, kidnapping, and raping two women, and leaving them on Interstate 75 in Manatee County August 16th.</p>
<p>The trio also face charges in a robbery and rape at a restaurant in St. Petersburg.</p>
<p>Reyes-Carbajal and Walle were arrested Wednesday after an assault and attempted carjacking in Ruskin. Martinez was arrested also arrested Wednesday after a short foot chase in Wimauma.</p>
<p>Martinez faces charges additional charges in the July 19th kidnapping and rape of two teens in Apollo Beach. Deputies say he also broke into a home a raped a woman July 3rd.</p>
<p>The charges are extensive from the multiple crimes. Martinez faces four counts of armed kidnapping, two counts of false imprisonment, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, four counts of armed robbery, 11 counts of sexual battery, and grad theft auto.</p>
<p>Reyes-Carbajal currently faces armed carjacking, but charges in the first two crimes mentioned are pending.</p>
<p>Walle faces eight counts of sexual battery, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of armed kidnapping, grand theft auto, attempted carjacking, and warrants for possession of marijuana, domestic violence, and battery.</p>

<p>Witnesses say the victim, who was identified as 44-year-old Willie Calhoun, was arguing with two people behind the store, when a shot was fired.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[The driver at fault was drunk and fled the scene ...]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>CLEARWATER- Two men are dead after a drunk driver turned in front of them while they were a motorcycle Tuesday night.</p>
<p>25-year-old Harold Davis was riding his motorcycle with a friend, 24-year-old Jason Hennis, on the back.</p>
<p>They were traveling on Sunset Point Road when a van on Keene Road, turned in front of them. The bike then smashed into the van, ejecting both men. Davis died at the scene.</p>
<p>The driver, 58-year-old Jimmy Dunn, who was intoxicated, left the scene and was later stopped by a witness who called police.</p>
<p>Hennis was flown to Bayfront Medical Center where he passed away.</p>
<p>Dunn, who is from South Carolina, is now in the Pinellas County Jail, charged with two counts of DUI Manslaughter.</p>
